January 11 and 12 Johnny Gandelsman and I play in the three Brahms violin sonatas at Bargemusic.
January 22 At the 92st Y, I will support Matthew Guerrieri and The First Four Notes in dashing and undoubtedly note-perfect rendering of the first movement of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony (as arranged for four hands by Xavier Scharweneka).
January 23 and January 24 (Note! Dates were off a day on previous DTM listing.) At Smalls there is an unprecedented gathering: Ethan Iverson/Tim Berne/Andrew Cyrille/Sam Newsome.
