On August 2, On Sacred Ground: The Bad Plus plays Stravinsky's Rite of Spring finally comes to NYC. Lincoln Center Out of Doors is a blast; they were also the co-commisioner. The Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble will play before us.
August 4, TBP meets up with Bill Frisell at Newport. More to come from that collaboration we hope! The Newport sked seems especially strong this year.
